Journalism is an important and fundamental tool for discussing cases that interest readers. It also plays a crucial role in serving society by shedding light on its problems and issues and providing adequate solutions, either directly or through subject matter experts or concerned parties. Given journalism’s noble role in educating and developing society, the study found that the cases of greatest interest to the public in journalistic investigations are those related to services. In contrast, literature-related issues were absent in the sampled newspapers. The study also revealed that what most encourages the audience to read an investigation is the topic itself, followed by the pictures, which are not very diverse in other types of investigations.
