The current geopolitical situation in the Baltic Sea region obviously dictates the need to increase the defense capabilities of the countries located here. Increasing these capabilities, which is a significant part of ensuring the deterrence policy of small states, cannot be realized without a reliable military logistics system, an important part of which is the supply system. The latter must be resistant and reliable. Therefore, the issues of disruptions and risk management of supply systems (especially military supply systems) are very important. From the analysis of the scientific literature, it is evident that there is a lack of theoretical studies and empirical research that would evaluate the possibilities of improving the supply systems of the Lithuanian Armed Forces (LAF). The lack of such studies shows that the problem of military supply in Lithuania is not sufficiently actualized. To eliminate the gap mentioned above, the purpose of this article is to present the broadest and most comprehensive list of risks that may occur in military logistics supply systems.
