This Chapter argues for the opportunity to develop a shared PropTech interpretation based on explicit criteria to overcome the problem of sizing the market and creating international connections. It examines and compares in detail existing approaches to classification and categorization efforts, with respective pros and cons, to define an overarching taxonomical proposition. The Chapter suggests observing the PropTech phenomenon from a service-based point of view and developing an interpretation that merges complementary perspectives. This approach enables the identification of all-encompassing clusters useful to acknowledge the contribution of PropTech both in the real estate value chain and in different digital technology domains. The Chapter presents a number of exemplary cases for a comprehensive understanding of the proposed clusters.

摘要
