Advancements in Molecular Markers and Their Application in Cereal Breeding
摘要
Molecular markers play a significant role in genetic analysis and breeding studies of cereals. They are used to identify essential traits such as disease tolerance, yield, and quality. Hybridization and PCR-based markers are commonly preferred in genomic analyses. Specifically, SNP and DArT markers facilitate the determination of genetic diversity in cereal crops and the selection of plants with desired traits. These advancements can enhance the adaptation capabilities of cereal crops, increasing their resistance to climate change and diseases and enabling the development of healthier and more nutritious cereal varieties.
