Updated Warehouse Logistics in Space-Constrained Environments Using Routing and Technical Solutions
摘要
The desire of Ukraine to establish new standards in sustainable warehouse logistics will necessitate innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency of current warehouse resources and implement new technological advancements. In this study, a comprehensive analysis of warehouse logistics operations was conducted. It is proposed to efficiently plan routes for loading mechanisms in warehouses with limited space to avoid accidents (conflicts). The proposed algorithm considers the number of loading mechanisms needed to move goods around the warehouse without any conflicts in their paths. In the research, the ERP15 VC electric loaders were compared with high-maneuverability and energy-efficient multi-axis loaders. The multi-axis loaders are equipped with two biaxial rotary platforms that can move sideways, crab, and rotate around a vertical central axis due to a small radius. Costs are considered a crucial factor in assessing the efficiency of warehouse logistics in situations where space is limited. This assessment is based on routing and technical solutions. The study discusses the system routing creation that can calculate the most efficient routes, minimize unnecessary maneuvers, and facilitate the planning and coordination of tasks and processing in structured systems. The simulation results depict that the suggested operational and technical solutions for operating the logistics warehouse are the most cost-effective when handling the maximum amount of cargo with five highly maneuverable and energy-efficient multi-axis loaders. These loaders are equipped with two biaxial turntable platforms, developed at KhNADU.
