The study addressed the topic of diagnosing the availability of connected strategic capabilities dimensions based on the (Walter and Hellman 2020) model from the perspective of administrative leaders: “An Exploratory Study at the University of Mosul.” The main objective of the study was to uncover the extent to which these connected strategic capabilities are available among administrative leaders at the University of Mosul. The significance of the study emerges from the potential to enhance the connected strategic capabilities of the University of Mosul. A descriptive-analytical approach was adopted to study the research problem (To what extent do the dimensions of strategic capabilities exist from the perspective of the administrative leadership at the studied university?) and reach to logical conclusions. The data were collected using a questionnaire prepared for this purpose and statistically processed using the (SPSS V.26) software. The questionnaire was designed based on opinions related to the variable (connected strategic capabilities) and its dimensions, which include (performance management, partnership, productivity, profitability, retention, production capability, and communication networks) according to the (Walter and Helman 2020) model. The questionnaire was distributed to a random sample of 205 individuals representing leadership at the studied university, out of which 151 valid responses were received, with a response rate of 73.5%. The study reached several conclusions, the most significant being the availability of the dimensions of performance management and partnerships in the studied organization at a good level. However, attention to the dimensions of production capability and retention was found to be weak. The study concluded with a number of recommendations for the studied university, the most important of which include utilizing its strengths in partnerships with other universities to tackle the challenges it faces in its environment and help fulfill its social commitments. Furthermore, the university should increase its focus on enhancing production capability by developing communication channels with its community (customers) and exploring new channels. It should also employ the latest technologies to attract beneficiaries of its services, aiming to elevate the university to a leading position.

摘要
