This research aims to analyze the post-pandemic economic growth influence inequality in Tacna, Peru. Utilizing longitudinal data from questionnaires based on ILO standards and the 2022 National Survey on Perception of Inequalities from the Institute of Peruvian Studies and Oxfam, the study surveyed 319 respondents in 2022 and 339 in 2023. The findings reveal that the health crisis has significantly exacerbated economic and social inequalities, particularly affecting vulnerable groups defined by occupation and ethnic identity. Furthermore, the results indicate widespread perceptions of inequality between rich and poor sectors, with a substantial percentage of respondents demanding immediate government action to bridge this gap, particularly in education, justice, and health. The study concludes that addressing these inequalities is crucial for fostering sustainable development in the region.
