Enhancing Bilateral Trade Between India and Bahrain: The Future Prospects
摘要
The present study examines the relationship between bilateral trade volume and economic indicators, as well as the trends in the balance of trade between India and Bahrain. The study employs regression analysis to investigate the links between bilateral trade volume and the GDP growth rates of both countries. Additionally, a moving average analysis is utilized to identify long-term trends and patterns in the balance of trade. The regression analysis reveals that there is no statistically significant relationship between the bilateral trade volume and the GDP growth rates of either Bahrain or India. The low R-squared values and high p-values suggest that factors other than trade volume are more influential in determining economic growth in these countries. The moving average analysis, however, paints a more positive picture. The 13-year moving average of the bilateral trade volume shows a consistently upward trend, indicating a strengthening economic relationship between India and Bahrain. This finding suggests that there is potential for further enhancement of the trade partnership, which could contribute to the economic development and prosperity of both nations. The study's findings provide valuable insights for policymakers, trade officials, and business leaders in India and Bahrain. The insights can be used to inform trade policies, investment strategies, and collaborative initiatives aimed at capitalizing on the growth potential of the bilateral trade relationship. All things considered, the results show how intricate trade and economic indicators interact, underscoring the need for more study to identify the fundamental causes of these trends to achieve sustainable economic growth.
