Needs Analysis
摘要
This chapter delves into the systematic process of conducting a comprehensive needs analysis to optimize the training and performance of human weapon system (HWS) professionals. Presented through two distinct methodologies, the processes emphasize the importance of identifying the wholistic demands to inform evidence-based training programs as seen through the HWS HP paradigm. The process begins with defining vision and mission goals, followed by a detailed physical demands analysis, baseline testing, and gap analysis. Prioritization of identified needs ensures targeted intervention while engaging the chain of command fosters alignment and implementation. The needs analysis process underscores the importance of preventing injuries and improving performance. These unique and field-tested methodologies provide a process for strength and conditioning professionals, enabling them to create personalized, data-driven programs that align with mission objectives and evolving HWS demands.
