The European Union has developed a comprehensive Economic Security Strategy to safeguard economic stability amidst growing risks, this study is going to investigate how the various measures established within this policy have affected the direction and management of economic risks. A qualitative methodology is conducted, building on theories in political economy, international relations, and other fields, which are used to analyze two case studies on Germany and the EU’s response to the US-China trade war, to explore in depth the strategies employed for European economic diplomacy. The findings indicate the strategy has significantly driven renewable energy expansion, technology innovation and job creation in Germany’s economy. In the trade war, the EU balanced interests and used economic diplomacy to preserve trade flows and cooperation. However, fully shielding member states from global crises remains challenging. Overall, the study provides a view of how the EU has carried through its concept of integrated security priorities and economic goals, The study provides insights into the EU’s model of integrating security priorities with economic goals. Further examination of specific industries or member state approaches would offer useful perspectives. This study reveals the role of proactive unified strategies in building resilience against a potentially unstable geopolitical backdrop.
