Just like the spinal cord, the cranial nerves have both upper and lower motor neurons. Instead of calling the UMNs the corticospinal tract, we refer to the UMNs of cranial nerves as the corticobulbar tract. And the cranial nerve nuclei are analogous to the anterior horn cells of the spinal cord.
