Gynecology-Oncology
摘要
Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship training is a rigorous 3–4 year experience, combining education in surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and supportive/palliative care. Planning for application to fellowship should start as early in residency as possible and may be strengthened by robust research and extramural rotations. Trainees are required to complete a research thesis during their fellowship, which is necessary for consideration for ABOG subspecialty certification. Upon completion of fellowship, applications will need to pass both qualifying and certifying examinations to achieve Board certification.
