After leaving a training situation, avoiding disaster in the operating room is a common cause of anxiety. It is possible to overcome this anxiety if you utilize some basic axioms. In this chapter, I review some of these axioms and their corollaries as well as truths that I have witnessed over the years that will help to minimize these all too common fears.
