Junayd’s Writings: His Letters of Correspondence
摘要
This chapter opens with a survey of Junayd’s writings, and then, turns to focus on Junayd’s letters of correspondence and analyses their themes, rhetoric and styles. This corpus of letters is significant evidence of third/ninth century Sufi piety. It is also important for examining and reconstructing the network of relationships early Sufism had with contemporary spiritual tendencies beyond Baghdad.
