Mango malformation disease (MMD), caused primarily by Fusarium species, remains one of the most economically devastating diseases of mango (Mangifera indica), significantly reducing yield and fruit quality. Climate change exacerbates the challenges associated with MMD by influencing the pathogen’s life cycle, host susceptibility, and disease dynamics through altered temperature, humidity, and rainfall patterns. This chapter explores mitigation strategies and forward-looking options to manage MMD under changing climate scenarios. Integrated management approaches are discussed, including resistant cultivar development, optimized cultural practices, and judicious use of fungicides. The role of biological control agents and microbiome engineering is highlighted in suppressing pathogens and enhancing plant resilience. Additionally, the chapter emphasizes predictive disease modeling using advanced climatic data and artificial intelligence to enable proactive management. Strengthening farmer awareness, capacity building, and policy support are critical for implementing these strategies effectively. By leveraging traditional knowledge and scientific innovations, this chapter aims to provide a roadmap for sustainable management of MMD in a rapidly changing climate, ensuring the long-term health and productivity of mango orchards.
