Subsystems and Influencing Factors Enabling Simulation for Planning Disassembly Systems
摘要
Disassembly planning presents significant challenges to manufacturers due to the many potential alternative disassembly scenarios that have to be considered. An optimal disassembly scenario results in an economically and ecologically balanced solution between a product’s disassembly depth-the extent to which an end-of-life (EOL) product is taken apart-and the disassembly system design. Since the disassembly depth is not fixed, comparing various disassembly depths and system design options is necessary. This research identifies and details the relevant disassembly subsystems and influencing factors needed to model these scenarios, thereby enabling the evaluation of disassembly scenarios using simulation modeling.
