The aim of this work is to evaluate the scalability of the die clamping force in the forging hammer, depending on the impact energy, the type of hammer and the die mass. This is necessary in order to evaluate the suitability of existing clamping systems and to derive general requirements for future clamping systems and processes. On the basis of a simulation model verified by experiments, the dependencies of the clamping force were investigated by means of a parameter study and quantified with the result that the load is primarily influenced by the ram speed.

摘要

The aim of this work is to evaluate the scalability of the die clamping force in the forging hammer, depending on the impact energy, the type of hammer and the die mass. This is necessary in order to evaluate the suitability of existing clamping systems and to derive general requirements for future clamping systems and processes. On the basis of a simulation model verified by experiments, the dependencies of the clamping force were investigated by means of a parameter study and quantified with the result that the load is primarily influenced by the ram speed.
