Attending conferences and earning continuing medical education (CME) credits is part of maintenance of certification for practicing radiologists in the United States. In this chapter, we discuss conference options available to radiologists and other mechanisms by which radiologists can earn CME in addition to attending conferences. It is important to understand your specific annual requirements for CME, which will vary based on the states in which you hold a medical license as well as on the requirements of your certification body which is the American Board of Radiology.
