Healthcare delivery is a team sport. Every member of the healthcare team in every department fills an important role in providing patient care. This chapter discusses the roles that radiology technologists, support staff, nurses, and administrators have in fulfilling a radiology department’s mission and how they intertwine with a radiologist’s agenda. The educational pathways for each member are explored to facilitate understanding of the different perspectives each may have so that communication and empathy is enhanced. General suggestions, with an emphasis on positivity, are discussed for each stakeholder which should lessen the potential for miscommunications and bad feelings, as well as avoid impairing workflow and even risk patient safety; suggestions that are more specific to a certain group are tackled in that specific section.
