Research on Parameter Identification of a Normalized Creep Model for Clay in Environmental Engineering Applications
摘要
Understanding the creep behavior of soft soils is essential for evaluating the long-term stability of structures such as embankments, landfills, and other civil engineering projects that interact with the environment. By normalizing the creep parameters of the generalized Kelvin model, a comprehensive creep model was proposed, which takes into account soil consolidation load, bulk density, void ratio, liquid limit, depth, and other relevant indicators. An empirical formula for the creep parameters of the generalized Kelvin model was also established. The proposed model can aid in assessing the long-term stability and environmen-tal impact of such structures, ensuring compliance with sustainability standards and minimizing adverse effects on surrounding ecosystems. By integrating geotechnical analysis with environmental considerations, this research contributes to the development of more resilient and environmentally responsible engineering solutions.
