It highlights the regulations in Europe, the Americas, and Asia, covering countries such as Belgium, Germany, France, the US, Brazil, and China. The chapter discusses specific limits for the use of recycled aggregates in concrete, detailing the maximum replacement percentages allowed for coarse aggregates, the classification of recycled materials, and the quality control measures required. National standards from the US (ACI), the UK (BS 8500-2), and other countries are compared, providing a comprehensive overview of global practices and challenges in implementing recycled aggregates.
