General Outlines for Recycled Aggregate Concrete for Structural Applications
摘要
Focusing on the use of recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) in structural applications, this chapter provides recommendations for maximum replacement levels and mix proportioning methods. It discusses the challenges of using recycled aggregates in concrete mixtures and the strategies to address them, such as adjusting water compensation and refining the mixing procedure. It also explores the impact of RAC on concrete’s strength, shrinkage, and durability properties, offering suggestions for overcoming the material limitations of recycled aggregates, ensuring that RAC can be a viable option for structural concrete applications.
