Fishing statistics (FS) for small pelagics over a long period and along the Algerian coast are highly variable. For one year, there were high values of FS, but for other years, there were chaotic values of FS. Several hypotheses are put forward: climate change, the collapse of stocks, and fishing techniques. To understand this disparity, we created a DATASET composed of satellite data (sea surface temperature (SST) and suspended matter load (MES), chlorophyll concentration (Chl)), oceanographic data extracted from the NET, and data measured in-situ via oceanography boat. For the entire Algerian coast, the analysis of vertical profiles showed us that the abundance of small pelagics is between 40 and 80 m. There is a strong correspondence between this abundance and the vertical profile of Chl and temperature. The areas of strong SF are located opposite the far west (Alboran Sea), which is characterized by a high concentration of Chl and low SST (oceanic sea), as well as other areas opposite the wadis (supply of nutrients). We have created a database of daily data for the central region for the different parameters. Multiple linear regression analysis gave a GLM model with a coefficient of determination equal to 0.86 for the sardine and moderate and low for the other species. By using real-time satellite images, it is possible to determine fishing zone.
