In recent decades, Artificial intelligence (AI) has grown to previously unheard-of levels and permeated many industries, including education. The current research agenda is focused on the discussions surrounding the benefits and drawbacks of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into higher education. This study attempts to explore the concept of Artificial Intelligence, impact of Artificial Intelligence on higher education and the challenges faced by higher education teachers when adopting AI tools in their pedagogy. The methodology adopted for research is primary source and secondary source of data collection. In order to help stakeholders manage the revolutionary influence of AI on higher education, we finish by offering suggestions, such as emphasizing teacher training and data privacy best practices.
