Intraday trading is the act of buying and selling a financial instrument within the same day or even multiple times over a single day. It applies a distinct range of tools to analyse data, detect patterns, implement algorithms, interpret sentiment, and handle risks. It covers key technical ideas like Dow Theory, Elliot Wave Theory, candlestick charts, support and resistance points, and tools such as moving averages and RSI. We gathered data through surveys and deep talks with traders, plus info from published sources. We then used MS Excel and Trading View to break down this data. Results show that most traders think technical analysis helps, but mental factors play a big role in how they trade. Good risk control and varied plans that use both technical and basic analysis are key. The study points out that traders need to learn about technical analysis and risk control. It also suggests getting more women into trading. We recommend personal learning plans for better ways to test past data, practice trading, and try a mix of methods. This full study aims to give tips and plans for new and skilled traders alike. It stresses how important mental smarts technical know-how, and strong risk control are to do well in intraday trading.
