This paper explores sustainable waste management practices for business-to-business (B2B) companies, which generate a significant portion of commercial and industrial waste. The aim is to analyze the drivers, challenges, and effective strategies to promote environmentally responsible waste management in the B2B sector. An extensive literature review was conducted to synthesize insights from academic journals, industry reports, and case studies on sustainable waste management in B2B companies across various industries. The key drivers for B2B companies to adopt sustainable waste management include regulatory compliance, cost savings, corporate social responsibility, and stakeholder pressure. However, challenges such as lack of infrastructure, limited knowledge, and financial constraints hinder effective implementation. This study is limited to the context of B2B companies and does not cover the waste management dynamics of business-to-consumer organizations or municipal solid waste. Future research could explore sector-specific case studies and quantitative analysis of the economic and environmental impacts. The findings offer practical guidance for B2B companies to develop and implement sustainable waste management programs, fostering resource efficiency, reducing environmental impacts, and promoting a circular economy. Effective waste management in the B2B sector can contribute to environmental conservation, public health, and sustainable development goals, benefiting both businesses and society. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of sustainable waste management practices tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities faced by B2B companies, contributing to the body of knowledge in this field.
