Enhancing Organizational Performance Through a Knowledge Management System: An Action Research at a Private Business School
摘要
This article describes action research conducted within a private business school to evaluate the impact of implementing a knowledge management system on organizational performance. The on-site research approach was structured around participatory design with the organization’s stakeholders. The results showed that knowledge management can facilitate innovation, improve coordination, and promote the rapid commercialization of new products. Furthermore, knowledge management can improve operational efficiency, better understand customer needs and establish better relationships, as well as facilitate learning by enabling individuals to access relevant information to develop their skills and capabilities. The action research led to the creation of an effective knowledge management system, which resulted in a significant improvement in organizational performance.
