Assessing Digital Transformation: A Comparative Study of the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom, and Morocco
摘要
This paper aims to evaluate the digital transformation of the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, and Morocco through a comparative study of four global indices: the Global E-Government Development Index (EGDI), Global Innovation Index (GII), Global Connectivity Index (GCI), and Network Readiness Index (NRI). Our analysis includes correlation calculations to explore the relationships between these indices. We also combine the four indices to construct a single composite indicator reflecting the level of digital transformation in each country. The study reveals significant differences among the four countries, offering valuables insights for Morocco to enhance its digital transformation initiatives.
