While development has been a key concern for every country in the world we are paying a price for this development, largely in the shape of climate change and environmental issues. The current model of development based on linear supply chains needs to be replaced with circular supply chains which aim at zero waste. A circular economy (CE) shifts the focus from only economic prosperity to prosperity along with sustainability. This paradigm shift will throw up new requirements from organizations to achieve zero waste through activities like reuse, recycling, repair and refurbishing. This will, in turn, require new skills from the workforce also. Performance evaluation metrics of employees would need to be modified. This chapter tries to understand the requirements from job roles in a circular economy. Based on these requirements certain performance evaluation metrics for employees have also been suggested.
