This chapter has been written to include generated commentaries from a large language model based on ideas that the authors present. It is written in this way to reveal three main features of large language models that also serve as creative methods through which to approach scholarly writing. The first is a response to the critique of many large language models that the content they generate is homogeneous or uniform. Identifying patterns of homogeneity in the content that large language models create might serve us to also identify similar patterns of uniformity within our own writing practices. The second section of the chapter explores the ability of a large language model to offer different viewpoints on the same subject, which reflects a key practice of many scholarly traditions that employ argumentation as a rhetorical tool. Finally, the way in which large language models generate content based on a corpus of data, which is composed of a multitude of sources written by many different authors, is similar to a long-established perspective that challenges the idea of a singular author when it comes to the composition and interpretation of any scholarly text.
