In today's digital landscape, consumers face a range of cybersecurity threats, from phishing attacks to data breaches. This chapter examines the ways in which artificial intelligence (AI) can both help and hinder consumer security. We explore how cybercriminals leverage AI to launch sophisticated attacks, such as deepfake phishing scams, and how AI-powered security solutions can help detect and mitigate these threats. The goal of this chapter is to detect the main kind of cybersecurity threats for consumers; in part of Generative AI—a new frontier in cybersecurity attacks and defense. Based on this consideration consumer-focused Cybersecurity strategy has been designed bearing in mind consumers’ behaviors in AI era.
