In April 1951, after delivering the[aut]Lowell Lectures Lowell LecturesThe Lowell Lectures (Kuhn) in March, Kuhn was hired by Harvard University[aut]Harvard University as an instructor in General Education and also as a tutor in the history of science. It would be another year before he reached the position of assistant professor which he would hold for the next half decade, a period that would end a year earlier than expected owing to his departure for the University of California, Berkeley[aut]Berkeley, University of California in the fall of 1956.
