Global Health Radiology for Trauma Imaging and Disaster Response
摘要
Radiology and medical imaging serve to diagnose, manage, and treat injuries and conditions. They are often used as a first-line assessment in cases of traumatic events, including those arising from human and man-made disasters. The global morbidity and mortality burden associated with traumatic events is rising and is especially critical in low-and middle-income countries, where infrastructure and resources are limited. Disasters, whether human-made or natural, add an additional burden by constraining resources even further.
