This Chapter presents the results from the Case Study on the Dynamic Stability (DS), introduced as a flying quality. The variety of different rules for DS is discussed, with a discussion on the implications for handling qualities and pilot workload. Credibility of extrapolation of the findings to different flight conditions is presented and a new flight-test-manoeuvre is introduced to evaluate the impact of different levels of DS on pilot workload, including flight in turbulent atmospheric conditions.
