Successful team dynamics hinge on a variety of anticipatable factors that should be specifically addressed during team member selection, training, performance evaluation, and iterative refinement activities. Each of these elements demonstrates overlaps between dynamic and logistical elements that benefit from team leader understanding and management, especially stressors that impact team member capability, fitness, and well-being. This chapter explores how each of these domains impacts how well team members work with one another as well as how they work with other teams in an interagency fashion including the interface with bystanders. Leadership aspects that facilitate high-functioning teams are similarly examined within the context of a command architecture and crisis management.

摘要
