The hemodynamically stable trauma patient affords the trauma team valuable time to consider a variety of treatment adjuncts. In this chapter, we will review the imaging modalities available for stable trauma patients. When caring for such patients, astute planning and a smooth transfer from the trauma bay through the imaging department and finally to definitive care improves patient care and maximizes efficiency.
