Fluid Extraterrestrial Identities
摘要
The chapter provides a discussion of how Mexican women writers utilize the potent SF icon of the alien/extra-terrestrial to forge new kinds of female identities as well as other non-heteronormative entities. The metamorphosis of Mexican femininity is traced through the optic of the extra-terrestrial from the age of Economic Expansion (1934–1983) to globalized contexts of Late Neoliberalism (2001–present).
