In the last content-related chapter of the book, two miscellaneous topics are discussed. Regarding the first one, i.e. sample size calculation, the chapter not only contains some equations that can be used for sample size calculation, it also contains a critical discussion of the use of sample size calculations. The second miscellaneous topic is the estimation of the reliability of measurements. In light of this, methods such as a Bland-Altman plot and the kappa statistic are discussed.
