We describe Carleman estimates and the applications to inverse problems for first-order transport equations. The transport equations makes the derivation of the Carleman estimates much easier, compared with parabolic equations and hyperbolic equations, and in addition to the own interests, it is expected that the treatments of transport equations may be a convenient introduction to the succeeding chapters.

摘要

We describe Carleman estimates and the applications to inverse problems for first-order transport equations.
