Framing, Deframing, and Reframing
摘要
This chapter, Framing, Deframing, and Reframing, discusses ways of knowing and the challenges of transdisciplinary knowledge integration needed for climate security intelligence. An important aspect to consider is how framing is overcome. Framing is usually seen as a positive and beneficial ability to keep a project or research study in focus. To achieve a climate security intelligence, multiple frames must be considered which requires a flexible mindset. Suggestions are provided for how to attain this. Concluding remarks encapsulate the major themes of the book, reinforcing the need for transdisciplinary collaboration, understanding framing, deframing, and reframing, the possible value of an alternate parallel organization design, and adaptability in the development of climate security intelligence.
