By utilizing quantum algorithms, quantum computers are intended to perform better than conventional computers. These algorithms have applications in various domains, like cryptography, search and optimization, quantum system simulation, and finding the solution of complex linear equations. In the present study, the functionality of various aspects of quantum computing like bits, gates and their algorithms and their application has been presented. Along with these recent developments in these algorithms, as well as their applications, are also discussed. Research in quantum computing is vital as it has the potential to expand many industries and significantly speed up the community and society. Finally, it is concluded that quantum algorithms are very fast compared to classical algorithms and these algorithms are the future of soft computing.
