The seamless integration of cloud computing and mobile technologies is expected to usher in a significant paradigm shift in electronic health record (EHR) administration. As a result, the healthcare sector is on the verge of a day when treatment options will be available to everyone in need while remaining adaptable and reasonably priced. The next stage guarantees that electronic health records are easily accessible, opening the way for a more flexible and adaptable healthcare system. Nonetheless, there are still obstacles to the growth of this technology. The relationship exposes sensitive health data to additional hazards at a time when worries about data privacy and network security are at an all-time high. The rising problem of preserving electronic health information in a networked and public context has given rise to this innovative yet concerning situation. This article proposes a cutting-edge architecture for the safe exchange of electronic health records (EHRs) using blockchain technology. The goal of developing this framework was to address the above-mentioned issues. This innovative strategy makes use of IPFS’s distributed storage capabilities as well as blockchain technology’s immutable record-keeping capabilities, all built on top of a mobile cloud architecture. In its most basic form, the technique depends on smart contract implementation to enable a trustworthy access control mechanism. These agreements are intended to guarantee that only permitted individuals have access to patient electronic health records. The agreements achieve their goal by establishing a trustworthy and safe environment for data sharing. The framework has been fully developed, and a functioning mobile application prototype has been built. This solution exploits the architecture by utilizing the Ethereum blockchain and Amazon’s tremendous cloud computing resources.
