Musculoskeletal Pain: Evidence-Based Clinical Evaluation and Management
摘要
Orthoses can be useful devices in the management of musculoskeletal pain. Understanding the underlying goal of the orthosis: to control motion, to control deformity, and/or to control pain, will assist the clinician in making the proper recommendation. These goals will be achieved through the use of three-point force systems and material properties in order to reduce foot, ankle, leg, knee, and/or back pain.
