The Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas y Ambientales (U.D.C.A.) is a private and autonomous university, which since 1983 has offered higher education programmes in the areas of basic, environmental, agricultural, social, administrative, legal, health, education, and engineering sciences. It has several campuses and sites in the cities of Bogota and Cartagena (Colombia), with 175 staff (full time equivalent) and 5057 undergraduate and graduate students. U.D.C.A. is highly committed to social and environmental responsibility “at the service of sustainable human development”. U.D.C.A. has a strong commitment with environmental sustainability in the five main areas of university action: Governance, Training, Research, Outreach, and Management. This chapter presents the results from 62 student responses. The main focus of the university is on the environmental dimension which is the most addressed, followed by the social and economic ones. The ranking of the competences shows that Anticipatory thinking, Systems thinking, and Justice, responsibility, and ethics were ranked the highest. The ranking of the pedagogical approaches resulted in Case studies, Project- or problem-based learning, Lecturing, and Inter-disciplinary team teaching being ranked the highest. The three competences most developed by pedagogical approaches were Empathy and change of perspective, Strategic action, Personal involvement, and Tolerance for ambiguity and uncertainty. The three pedagogical approaches that developed the most competences were Inter-disciplinary team teaching, Lecturing, and Eco-justice and community. The results allow U.D.C.A. to identify its strengths and weaknesses in significant aspects of the undergraduate and graduate training it provides to its students.
