Furthermore, rising trends in molecular diagnostic techniques and novel antifungal formulations offer promising advancements in combating this resilient infection. The pathogenesis involves fungal irruption of the nail plate and posterior vulnerable response, causing characteristic clinical instantiations observed in cases. This disease manifestation can be divided into distal and proximal subungual types, superficial white and total dystrophic donations, each with distinct clinical features and individual challenges.
