This visual vignette documents group artwork. Numerous inmates discarded valuable work due to shame or restrictions on keeping items in their cells. Some of these pieces were salvaged and are included in this supplementary chapter with the participants’ consent. Other artworks were retrieved by the inmates from the rubbish bin with the encouragement of other group members and/or the facilitator. This vignette provides a snapshot of some of the salvaged artworks and the context surrounding their creation. The contents provided in Supplementary Materials 1–3 are useful resources for educators, art therapists, prison managers, and other stakeholders seeking to implement similar future therapeutic art programs in a variety of national and international judicial settings.
