This study aims to examine the dependence of Bahraini youth on smartphone applications as the main source of information and analyze the reasons and advantages they see in this use; questionnaires were used to collect data from 600 Bahraini youth, where the results revealed that 85% of young people use smartphone applications to obtain information, the study found that 60% of participants believe that smartphone applications provide accurate and reliable information, and the results also showed that 75% of young people believe that the use of smartphone applications contributes In enhancing communication and interaction between them. The study makes recommendations that include improving information assessment skills, encouraging the use of applications for learning and personal development, emphasizing the importance of developing reliable applications, and promoting constructive communication through these applications. The study also advises promoting awareness of digital security and privacy in the use of apps.
