The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of an enterprise resource planning system on financial performance. This data was collected and saved using an ERP system to construct a subsequent strategy. This system is used to govern operations and organize data so that decision-makers can analyze and make informed decisions. This data is included in the information provided to decision makers. The decision-makers have developed a set of guiding principles to ensure compliance with all applicable law and industry requirements. This is done to ensure that all reports are consistently sent. Researchers have dived into the topic of “the effect of enterprise resource planning system on financial performance” of small and medium-sized businesses. The data acquired in this study was collected solely by a quantitative method, which included the use of a questionnaire as well as assistance from specialists or passed data. Financial managers, account managers, and accountants provided data from enterprises in Iraq’s Kurdish area for this investigation. The population sample used was (100) respondents, but two fraudulent respondents were identified and removed. The collection process was carried out using Google Forms to make it more practical and time efficient. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 22. The dependent and independent variables were examined using linear regression from the application. There is a considerable influence now that it has been finalized, and a relationship exists between the enterprise resource planning system and financial performance.
