This paper examines the evolution of Algeria’s agricultural sector, going from the early stages immediately after the independence to the modern stages where the government is more interested in the use of AI and modern technologies in order to enhance the productivity. The research is suggesting techniques in order to improve the agriculture sector in Algeria to be more efficient and more effective. It also investigates how modern technologies have enabled farmers to have access to some advanced and innovative tools to better manage the supply chain. On the other hand, this research paper stresses that the success of these technologies cannot happen without a strong government support, including the development of new policies, substantial infrastructure, and new educational and training programs for farmers. While moving forward with these changes Algeria is well-positioned to resolve the historical challenges and set new standards for agricultural productivity and sustainability. This path aligns with global trends in technology-driven farming and can be considered a new era for the agriculture in the country. This research paper contributes valuable insights to the academic field, offering a detailed exploration of how technological advancements can transform agricultural productivity and sustainability, particularly in regions confronting significant geopolitical and environmental challenges.
