A Study on Women Participation in MSME: Opportunities and Challenges in Bangalore City
摘要
In order to promote gender equality and economic success, the Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSME) sector depends heavily on women for growth and innovation. The Indian economy may be tremendously benefited by empowering women entrepreneurs; thus this is becoming a priority. With several programs aimed at expanding access to financing and simplifying the process of starting and expanding enterprises, women now have greater options. However, a significant obstacle that prevents women from sustaining their endeavors is still a lack of education and skills. The socioeconomic framework also presents a number of obstacles that may prevent women from pursuing entrepreneurship. The purpose of this essay is to examine the opportunities and difficulties that women have when starting and operating MSMEs. The study examines these opportunities and difficulties using primary data that was gathered from 103 Bangalore-based women entrepreneurs using Google Forms.
